Single Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable
- Datasheet
- Applications
- Features and Benefits
- Description
Suitable for external applications in ducts, aerial applications or direct burial
1. Choice of fiber type
2. Colour coded fibers
3. High crush resistance
4. PE / LSZH jacket
5. High tensile strength
The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of corrugated steel tape longitudinally. Between the corrugated steel tape and the loose tube water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable compact and watertight. Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the steel tape. The cable is completed with HDPE sheath.

Helically applied water blocking e-glass non-metallic strength members with ripcord and PE inner jacket, corrugated steel tape (CST) armoring and black high density polyethylene (HDPE) final jacket with ripcord.
Aerial Figure 8 Fiber Optic Cable
- Datasheet
- Applications
- Features and Benefits
- Description
Suitable for installation in aerial environments for long haul communication
1. Aluminium moisture barrier tape and corrugated steel tape options
2. Stranded wires as self-supporting member providing excellent strain performance and convenient installation
3. Up to 144 fibers with single or multimode options available
4. The loose tube stranding technology make the fibers have good secondary excess length and allow the fibers free movement in the tube, which keeps the fiber stress free while the cable is subjected to longitudinal stress
Oxin figure of 8 aerial cable, for spans up to 70m, consists of 250µm optical fibers in gel filled loose tubes with interstitial gel. Water barrier aluminium tape or steel tape armouring options are available. Tensile strength is provided by a steel messenger wire. The cable jacket is black high density polyethylene (HDPE).
ADSS MLT Fiber Optic Cable
- Datasheet
- Applications
- Features and Benefits
- Description
Suitable for installation on poles and on the power distribution network
1. Lightweight, all-dielectric construction is ideal for use near electrical power lines and in areas of frequent lightning strikes
2. Round construction is ideal for minimum wind drag and ice build-up
3. High tensile strength
4. Wide operating temperature range: -40°C ~ +70°C
Oxin All Dielectric Self-Supporting Multi Loose Tube (MLT) cables are constructed of fibers inside gel filled central loose tubes, wrapped around an FRP central strength member. This is encased in a PE inner jacket, aramid yarns and a PE outer jacket.
Tight Buffered Distribution Cable
- Datasheet
- Applications
- Features and Benefits
- Description
• Internal cable for installation in trunking, under floor or ceiling spaces
• Fiber backbones in riser and horizontal configurations
1. Choice of fiber type
2. Colour coded fibers
3. High strength E-Glass rodent resistant yarn strength members for ease of handling
4. LSZH jacket
5. Easy to strip
Oxin tight buffered and breakout cables are manufactured using 900µm buffered fibers in a variety of constructions. Aramid or e-glass yarns are utilized to provide strength and to protect the fibers. The cables can be supplied with either Low Smoke Zero Halogen or PVC jackets, depending on the application.
Oxin tight buffered and breakout cables have a variety of applications. These include horizontal distribution, backbone and riser applications, patch cords, rack to rack links in equipment rooms and short run external inter-building links.
Drop Cable
- Datasheet
- Applications
- Features and Benefits
- Description
• Internal FTTH applications horizontal and riser
• Clipping to surfaces including skirting boards
1. Individually colored optical fibers
2. Notched construction for easy stripping
3. White LSZH jacket for internal use
Two or four core flat drop cable for Fiber To The Home (FTTH) application, the cable is constructed with two or four single mode fibers protected by dielectric strength member made of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) strength member and LSZH outer jacket.
It is very light in construction and easy to install, generally used for connecting Main distribution frame to consolidation point in home, apartment or offices. Industry standard connectors can be used for direct termination because of standard 250µm fiber size.
